27 years, one partnership

For more than 27 years, Gilligan Contracting has been a trusted name in vineyard operations across the McLaren Vale wine region. At the helm is owner and managing director Sami Gilligan, whose commitment to quality and efficiency has shaped the business into a year-round operation.

“We basically follow the seasons of the vineyard,” Sami said.

“At harvest, we run trucks carting fruit from vineyards to wineries, and in winter, we focus on compost and mulch spreading.”

Sami’s relationship with Croplands began over two decades ago with the purchase of a single-row Quantum Mist sprayer.
