Spot-In-Crop uses WEED-IT’s proven fluorescence-based detection to identify living plant material with high precision, enabling targeted application on larger
weeds within the crop, regardless of shape or structure.

For use in early post emergent applications, SIC combines real-time plant detection with targeted 25 cm nozzle control to deliver market-leading precision when spraying larger weeds above and in between the rows of the crop.

Spot-In-Crop is particularly suited to use cases where growers want to target weeds that have escaped earlier control or emerged above the crop canopy.

This new mode supports integrated weed management by adding another targeted control option during the growing season. Because WEED-IT SIC is designed to target larger weeds growing within a crop, growers reduce chemical use compared with blanket spraying.

The Power of Fluoresence

We use a simple yet clever law of nature to detect weeds which we call the Power of Fluorescence. By detecting the amount of chlorophyll, WEED-IT can distinguish the individual bigger unwanted plants. It then only activates the spray nozzles located directly above those weeds.
