MagrowTec is manufactured in state of the art facilities in Ireland. The technology is designed to retrofit on any boomspray regardless of make or model.
MagrowTec is a two-component system comprised of a series of rare earth magnets that deliver a more consistent spray profile, improving coverage. This results in better crop protection, reduced drift, and less chemical waste, allowing customers to practice more sustainable farming while increasing ROI.
The technology uses permanent rare earth magnets to expose crop protection fluid to static non-uniform magnetic fields under appropriate flow conditions. This has the impact of affecting the physical properties of the fluid that determine MagrowTec’s characteristic spray droplet formation, droplet dynamics, and droplet adhesion. Critically, MagrowTec technology allows growers to use much smaller droplets without the drift and waste normally associated when using these smaller nozzles.
The latest farm trial in Moree
Recently, the Croplands Equipment Territory team installed a MagrowTec manifold on a Goldacres G4 Self-Propelled with Black Truck & Ag Moree’s Field Service Tech Broden Clarke. This precision ag trial was conducted on Byron Birch’s property as part of a case study with Farmers2Founders.
With both applications completed at 114L/Ha, 4 Bar pressure, and 17km/Hr using a 3 Tiered Spray System (015 and 020 nozzles at alternate 50cm spacings), the differences were drastic!
